TEAHUPO'O est devenu hors norme dimanche 28 Août.
L'organisation de la compétition a préféré ne pas lancer la compétition, en raison de conditions trop dangereuses, autorisant aux meilleurs chargeurs du monde une session tow in hors norme.
Dylan Longbottom, Laurie Towner, Dean Bowen, Koby Abberton, Dean Morrison, Benjamin Sanchis, Kamelai Alexander, Nathan Fletcher, Bruce Irons et Kalanai Chapman ont été défier la vague, dans des conditions dantesques.
