Jeffreys Bay is a perfect wave, and soon as you catch your first wave out there, well, you are in love,” Frederico Morais says about his first ever trip to the mythical righthand point break in South Africa. "I had dreamed of surfing there for so long, so to finally surf it and be with my mates like Ryan Callinan, Tomas Fernandes and Seth Moniz on my first trip was special. The wave has so much speed that you feel like you can do anything to it. Sometimes it is a little difficult to find the rhythm of the wave, but as soon as you find it all you want to do is surf, and surf, and surf some more. I’ve grown up surfing righthand points so this was always one of the waves that I knew I just had to surf. At the end of the days there, watching the waves still reel off down the point has to be one of the best views on earth. You know then that when you are surfed out and happy, that is everything is right in the world
