Italy is not known for waves but there's always exceptions. When a significant Mediterranean swell arised on the charts, Nixon longtime surfers Marlon Lipke and Gony Zubizarreta embarked on a plane to Sardinia, Italy, to join Roberto D'Amico for a 3-day surf mission.
