It takes little time, little observation to understand why Mexico is such an attractive place for surfers: 3 to 6ft glassy open faces, barreling sections, warm water… It was no surprise when Gaspard Larsonneur told us about his trip over there.
Hailing from Quimper, France, the 19 year-old regular footer has been literally surfing every existing waves around the craggy coastline of Brittany, from the infamous La Torche all the way to the most remote and savagely protected secret spot.

The last chapter of Tristan’s and Jatyr’s road trip through Mexico ends in Acapulco, where both Protest team riders compete in the WSQ 4-star contest.
After having surfed the best waves and barrels in Mexico in the days preceding the contest, both friends head fully prepared a bit further north. However Tristan’s sickness two days before the event causes him to struggle to get back his full strength.

Throwback to the last trip to Mexico with Adrien Valero and the others guy.
"Mexico is such a nice country to make a trip! You can have some good hollow waves, a sunny weather all day long and meet friendly people.
In a lot of minds, relationships are hard in Mexico with drugs and robbers but we didn’t have any problems and i was close to adopt two cute kids. My trip was incredibly fun and i can wait for the next time.
