Selecting the Chosen Video Crew wasn't an overnight decision. In Round 1, Crews battled it out to be noticed by Nike. We narrowed the field to the Top 9 and put voting in your hands, which sent the 3 Top crews to Silvretta Montafon Austria for the Nike Chosen Sessions.

The Nike Chosen Sessions in Silvretta Montafon Austria is a wrap. Your votes helped file it down for the Pros to decide who was ultimately Chosen to Live Like a Pro. Markus Mathis, from Switzerland, took home the esteemed Chosen AM with an amazing week & nailing a few double corks in the Sessions Park.

The 3rd and final Chosen Session put the AMs back on familiar Chosen Series winning territory with a straight out kicker session. The perfectly shaped 20m Kicker got a proper working as the AMs stepped up and mixed in with the Nike team, digging deep into their bags and pulling out some of the best AM riding seen all week. The crews have all made it Austria and the assignment has been given, 6 days to film and edit a new snowboard video at Silvretta Montafon and the surrounding region. The Nike pros will then check these edits and vote on style, progression, creativity & comradery to determine which crew will be Chosen. On May 1st the 2012 Nike Lowers Pro arrives in Southern California. 96 of the world's best surfers will gather on the famed cobblestones, all in pursuit of critical ASP ratings points, glory and the opportunity to create their own legacy.

The second of the Chosen Sessions bought the AMs and Nike Pros to the most innovative feature of the Chosen park – The Bowl, a huge leap forward in snowboard features that took the skate inspired elements of pool riding and street to a whole new place.
